This is all made possible by our powerful Sales team, which excels at driving engagement with our technologies across all channels. These comprise internet service providers as well as retailers, which include brick-and-mortar stores, online stores (e-tail), partnerships, and small to medium-sized specialist retailers.

Overview

Sales at AVM

Takes responsibility for a given sales region and is the main point of contact for commercial partners – either nationally or internationally.

Responsible for optimizing product presentation both in stores and online, and works to consistently build AVM's brand presence with our retail partners.

Manages strategically important key accounts, recognizes customer needs, and unlocks growth potential.

Offers guidance in response to product inquiries and provides support with purchasing decisions, while also identifying attractive cross-selling opportunities.

Oversees cross-departmental reporting, develops decision templates for the Chief Sales Officer, and acts as the main point of contact for other company departments. Sales Controlling also manages all systems used by the Sales team and ensures high data quality.

Actively presents and sells our products to specialist retailers, playing a key role in our success – be that at events such as roadshows, trade fairs, or by telephone.

I enjoy my job every day.

I haven't had a boring day since joining AVM. My friends tease me about it. But it really is like that. I'm able to have a real impact in my area and feel challenged in a good way. Sometimes even today I'm just stunned when I think how quickly the team grew and what we've achieved together. To me, AVM is all about professionalism, team spirit, and feeling valued. That's been my experience for more than ten years.

I can see the results of my work.

When I started at AVM back in 2021, I was in charge of retail points of sale. This is about overseeing the way our products are presented in across all electronics stores in Germany. I particularly enjoy developing ideas to make these environments more digital. People should be able to learn more easily and in less time. I was able to develop this new area and can also see the results on location.

Internationalization is my thing.

When I joined in 2021, AVM established a team dedicated to supporting Amazon as an enterprise customer. One particularly cool thing about our team is that we're a real mix of sales and marketing professionals – and it works great. I'm certain this holistic approach is a great fit for current market trends. We're focused on driving forward our partnership with Amazon within Europe and further improving AVM's brand recognition outside Germany. I like to think of our team as the driving force behind our internationalization efforts.
