Internationalization is my big thing.
When I joined in 2021, AVM established a team dedicated to supporting Amazon as an enterprise customer. One particularly cool thing about our team is that we're a real mix of sales and marketing professionals – and it works wonderfully. I'm certain this holistic approach is a great fit for current market trends. We're focused on driving forward our partnership with Amazon within Europe and further improving AVM's brand recognition outside Germany. I like to think of our team as the driving force behind our internationalization efforts.
Educating and inspiring
As a team leader, I'm primarily responsible for our strategic approach. We carefully consider which products and which content we can use to present ourselves in the best possible way, and put this all into action following Amazon's rules of play. It's a really interesting customer. I love sharing my enthusiasm with others and am always on hand to address any concerns or questions that may arise. People put a lot of faith in me, and I have the freedom to experiment and see how end customers respond to us in different countries.
Sold on the complete package
The overall atmosphere at AVM is always friendly and respectful. The basics are set up in a very professional way, too. For example, the onboarding process was the best I've ever experienced. Everything was very well planned. I was able to get to know every area of the business and even visit our sites elsewhere in Europe. Even my manager impressed me right from the start! I know I'm going to be able to learn a lot here and there are many development opportunities for me. That was an important consideration on my part – otherwise I'd not have chosen AVM in the first place.
