Xiaolan, Supply Chain Management Team Leader
There's a big focus on trust.
In supply chain management, we plan the manufacture of all AVM products and coordinate with our production partners both in Germany and abroad. I can always rely on my team. That means I don’t have to be included on every distribution list, or attend every single meeting. An open and honest approach is very important to me – including how we handle mistakes. That takes a lot of trust, and the company has shown plenty in me over the past 20 years.
At the right time
Long delivery times are the biggest challenge in our line of work. For example, if AVM wants to sell a new FRITZ!Box model from July onwards, we need to commission a factory with the job at least six months in advance. Internally, we work closely with colleagues from Sales, Product Management, Quality Assurance, and Pre-production. That makes our work more varied and communicative.
Fair and human
At AVM, we have a lot of freedom to make important decisions ourselves. That’s a lot of responsibility, and as a team, we’re proud of that. AVM places a lot of importance on playing fair, including with our partners. It’s very important to me to work for a company that ticks the right boxes on the human side of things, too.
